Nazareth Names New Title IX Coordinator

Nazareth College has named Karen Vicks as the College’s Title IX coordinator. Vicks has been serving as the associate director of Campus Life since January of 2015, working closely with Residential Life staff and directing Nazareth’s Student Conduct office.

The Title IX coordinator is responsible for overseeing the College’s centralized review, investigation, and resolution of reports of sexual assault and harassment in order to create an environment free from sexual misconduct, harassment, and discrimination. The coordinator also develops and coordinates the implementation of policies and procedures to ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local legal and regulatory requirements applicable to the college/university setting.

Vicks will be working collaboratively with numerous campus stakeholders to develop and implement ongoing educational outreach programming for students, faculty, and staff to foster a safe, responsive, and respectful community.
