Nazareth's interdisciplinary approach to international and global studies teaches you about world issues, how countries and international organizations interact, and the ethical dimensions of both conflict and cooperation. This degree helps to prepare you to enter a career in government, the foreign diplomatic service, intelligence agencies, international business, journalism, international law, or international service organizations. This major is also excellent preparation for graduate school in more specialized areas.

Teaching and Research Interests:
My main areas of teaching are in the Hindu traditions, global Christianity, gender/politics and religion, and mysticism.
In the last 10 years alone, six international studies majors or minors have received prestigious U.S. Junior Fulbright Awards from the J. William Fulbright Foreign Scholarship Program. They have traveled to countries such as Germany, Italy, Slovak Republic, South Korea, and Israel to teach English and study.
