Language, Literacy, and Technology

Reading Clinic

Elementary and secondary students, as well as adults from the community may receive support in learning to read and write at the clinic, located on the Nazareth campus.

Nazareth graduate students in the Literacy Programs assess the individual with whom they work to determine strengths and needs, design an instructional program to overcome or compensate for those needs, and provide one-to-one instruction.

During selected terms, the faculty member and graduate students may work at one of the area's schools rather than on campus.

Graduate students who hold one or more certifications complete the requirements for their Master's Degree and Additional Certification as a Literacy Specialist.
