Social Work Services

Social workers help people identify their strengths and develop strategies to make positive changes in their lives. Students and faculty at the YWRI help referred individuals work on their identified goals. Social work services include individual or group counseling, information provision, and service referral.

Potential Clients

Individuals seeking help coping with challenges such as overall wellness, stress, grief, loss, anxiety, isolation, and depression, and individuals who need services such as individual or group counseling, information, and referral.

Session Schedule

One-time or weekly sessions, as needed. Services are provided during Nazareth's fall and spring semesters.

Student Clinicians

Counseling services are provided by students in the Master of Social Work (MSW) program. All counseling is supervised by social work faculty and staff licensed by the New York State Office of the Professions.

Eligibility and Fees

The clinics are free of charge. Donations are accepted.

Location

The social work services are provided on the Nazareth campus in the Wellness and Rehabilitation Institute. The clinic space is accessible to people with disabilities.

Parking

Clinic parking spaces are located in front of theĀ Wellness and Rehabilitation Institute building and in G Lot at the end of the building.

You will receive a parking pass before you begin your first session. Please make sure the parking pass is visible on your dashboard while you're parked on campus. If you receive a parking ticket, let your clinic supervisor know.
