Surviving & Thriving After Sexual Assault: A Take Back The Night Event

April 14, 2015 7 – 10 p.m.

There will be a screening of the documentary, Brave Miss World. Israeli beauty queen Linor Abargil was abducted and raped in Milan, Italy two months before being crowned Miss World in 1998.  Now a globe-trotting victims' advocate, Abargil encourages others to stand against violence by putting an end to their silence.  This film shares her story.

A panel discussion will follow the documentary and will feature the following people:

A candlelight vigil will follow the panel. There will be free wristbands and refreshments. Inspiration cards will be provided by the Art Therapy Club.
