Lynn Duggan: Trajectory

January 23, 2016 –
February 28, 2016 12 – 5 p.m.

Lynn Duggan: Trajectory is a retrospective of work by Lynn Duggan — spanning nearly 40 years of teaching jewelry and metalsmithing at Nazareth College — and includes jewelry, sculpture, drawing, and collage. Much of Duggan’s work reflects her ongoing involvement in women and gender studies, and focuses on the human body. She is currently exploring social/political themes in mixed media, including contemporary issues such as gun violence, healthcare, and war.

Duggan has been honored with the Nazareth College Excellence in Teaching Award; has taught as a visiting professor for the University of Georgia Studies Abroad Program in Cortona, Italy; and was awarded two New York Foundation for the Arts fellowships.
