Ash Wednesday marks the beginning of Lent for Christians around the world. The Season of Lent is a forty day season of prayer and fasting that begins with Ash Wednesday and concludes with the celebration of Holy Thursday, Good Friday and Easter Sunday (March 27th).
For those who are interested in observing Ash Wednesday on campus, there will be two services in the Linehan Chapel:
12:30 p.m. - Catholic Mass
7:00 p.m. - Ecumenical Ash Wenesday Service (Catholic and Protestant)
