Wisewater

January 20, 2017 8 – 9:30 p.m.

Nashville-based Americana duo Wisewater is Webster native Kate Lee (vocals, fiddle) and Forrest O’Connor (vocals, mandolin, guitar), son of famed country fiddler Mark O’Connor.

Since its inception in 2013, the duo has earned praise from such legends as Alison Krauss, Rosanne Cash, Mary Gauthier, and others for the lyrical honesty, infectious melodies, tight harmonies, and instrumental virtuosity in their refreshing roots, country, rock, and acoustic music. Wisewater has performed in notable venues including 3rd and Lindsley, The Bluebird Café, the Grand Ole Opry, Joe’s Pub, and the Station Inn, as well as music festivals across the country.

Lee and O'Connor were nominated for a 2017 Grammy Award as members of the O'Connor Band.

Wisewater’s Arts Center show will feature the duo’s acoustic music.

Single tickets: $25–$35 (eligible for Arts Center 15% and 20% subscriber discounts)
