In the heart of the Atacama Desert in Chile, there is an inn called Fin del Mundo (End of the World). Alberto, a man in his late sixties, and his younger wife run it. When a very striking and beautiful woman arrives, Alberto discovers that they knew each other from growing up in Casablanca. Why, after 45 years, does she come looking for him? What secrets of the past must be addressed before life can go on? In a magical setting, in the driest place on Earth, with the clearest sight of the Milky Way, will they be able to finally see into their own hearts? What does Don Eusebio, their old teacher, help them discover that will tie human destiny to the course of the stars?
