Participants in the 2018 Civil Rights Journey will host a campus presentation reflecting on their experience. This week-long journey through Alabama, Mississippi and Tennessee provides a first-hand account of the remnants of slavery, Jim Crow and the Civil Rights Movement and how these historical events shape our current climate.
The group traveled to Birmingham, Selma, and Montgomery, Ala., and Memphis, Tenn., to visit historical sites, meet with activists, historians and scholars.
