At some point in their career, every dancer is likely to be asked to make a dance quickly – in two weeks, one week, three days.
How does one create a visually textured and physically satisfying dance in such a short time? In this workshop, we will work together to choreograph a successful dance in an hour and a half. Using compositional tools, we will make a phrase, then manipulate that single phrase to make a 3-5-minute dance. Come ready to create!
