May 19 German Study Abroad Overview

The School of Management is hosting an information session on a May 2019 seventeen-day trip to Germany.  The trip includes a three-credit course called 'German Business Culture.'  Prerequisites include MGT 212 Organization & Management and either ECO 101 or ECO 102.  Students will visit Munich, the Bavarian Alps, Berlin, Potsdam, & Dresden.   There will be tours of BMW, Siemens, VW and other German firms, museums, and other destinations.   The academic goal is to understand how the German culture enables them to be the world's third largest exporter despite having the global's highest employee wages and benefits.  Tour destinations include, Neuschwanstein Castle, Dachau concentration camp, Brandenburg Gate, Berlin Wall Museum, Dresden Frauenkirche, and other amazing sites.  The information session will provide dates, destinations, academic information and costs.
