Irreverent\, uproarious\, and adamantly bipartisan\, The Capitol Steps are back for Rochester’s favorite New Year’s Eve tradition of political satire. The award-winning troupe that began as a group of U.S. Senate staffers has been featured numerous times on primetime TV\, as well as four times a year on its popular NPR specials.<\p>\n

Now in its 38th year\, The Capitol Steps has recorded an album of laugh-out-loud song skits a year\, and 2019 promises to be no exception. The Capitol Steps will present a new show based on their new album The Lyin' Kings\, <\em>featuring new parody songs like I Did Nothing in Ukraine<\a>\, The Sound of Sanders<\a>\, Can you Feel the Rub Tonight<\a>\, and It's My Party (and I'll Lie if I Want To)<\a>! <\em>Quite simply\, The Capitol Steps puts the “mock” in democracy.<\p>\n
