Return to Work

The reintegration of faculty and staff to the Nazareth campus, when approved by New York State, will start in mid-July and occur in phases. The goal is to return employees to an on-campus work experience over the course of the fall 2020 semester.

Your safety is important to us, which is why the College is implementing protection control strategies, in alignment with New York State standards. Read more on Nazareth’s Health and Safety webpage.

Reasonable Accommodations

Concerned about returning to campus for fall 2020? Let us help.

We have received questions regarding temporary work accommodations based on individual health conditions. According to the CDC, individuals with certain health conditions may have a higher risk for COVID-19 infection. These conditions and other risk factors may include:

  • Adults aged 65 years and older
  • Asthma (moderate-to-severe)
  • Chronic lung disease
  • Diabetes
  • Serious heart conditions
  • Chronic kidney disease being treated with dialysis
  • Severe obesity
  • Being immunocompromised

Staff and faculty members who believe they fall in the group of higher risk individuals and who wish to seek a temporary reasonable accommodation for the fall semester through the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), should contact Human Resources (HR) at to set up a time to discuss available options.
