Dominican Republic

Volunteer in one of three service sites in Santiago, Dominican Republic with faculty from art therapy, occupational therapy, physical therapy, and communication sciences and disorders!

This 10-day program will allow students to explore the culture, music, beaches, cities and rural villages of one of the most vibrant islands in the Caribbean. After getting to know the country and some of the issues it faces, students will then work with faculty at one of three service sites, volunteering with children, teenagers or elder adults.

    Language Requirements: There is no language requirement; however, it is helpful to have taken at least one college-level Spanish course prior to participation. 

    Cumulative GPA Requirement: 2.5
