International Service Program

Participate in an exciting two and a half week trip to Leeds, England!

Program Highlights:

  • Week one: Work with the Get Ahead Team's Summer Camp to assist adolescents as they explore careers and college life.
  • Week two: Visit Hollybank Trust to work with individuals with developmental disabilities and assist them with daily activities, creative projects, and maybe even go sailing!
  • Week three: Visit the West Indian Cultural Center in Chapeltown, and explore living history while participating in enriching activities with youth and elder community members.

About Leeds

Devin Kelly ’13

Devin had such a great internship in Leeds that she ended up getting a job there. The sociology major is a youth support worker for both Leeds City Council and for a charity called Getaway Girls, where she interned in fall 2012.
