Richey Named New Vice President for Finance

“As Nazareth moves into 2014, we look forward to the financial leadership that Patrick will bring to the college,” said Nazareth President Daan Braveman. He has years of experience in both higher education and community administration roles, and I welcome him to Nazareth’s senior leadership team.” 

Richey previously worked as vice president for business and finance/treasurer at Canisius College in Buffalo, N.Y.  Prior to Canisius, Richey served as vice president for finance and operations at Genesee Community College in Batavia, N.Y. He spent more than 15 years in local government management positions in several New York state municipalities.

“With President Braveman’s message of access and affordability for Nazareth students, I look forward to the challenge of delivering effective financial management that helps Nazareth remain fiscally strong in this fast changing world of higher education,” said Richey. 

He earned his master’s in public administration from Syracuse University and earned his bachelor’s degree from LeMoyne College.
