Bordas to Present 'Salsa, Soul, and Spirit' at Nazareth College, Nov. 16

Juana Bordas, renowned author and motivational speaker, will present Salsa, Soul, and Spirit: A Talk by Dr. Juana Bordas on Monday, November 16th, 2016 at 7:00 p.m. in the Forum of the Otto A. Shults Community Center. The Nazareth College Leadership Program is sponsoring the event in collaboration with the Campus Activities Board, Campus Life, and the Institute for Pluralism.

Bordas’ presentation is based on her book titled Salsa, Soul, and Spirit: Leadership for a Multicultural Age which focuses on the eight core leadership principles common to Latino, African-American, and American Indian cultures. She emphasizes how we can incorporate these principles into mainstream leadership practices, in order to create a more effective and inclusive style of leadership.

The Leadership Program at Nazareth College provides any student the structure to actively explore and discuss leadership while continuing to develop skills and abilities as a leader.
