Ronald Gonzalez: Recent Sculpture

Ronald Gonzalez: Recent Sculpture features assemblages by sculptor and Binghamton University art professor Ronald Gonzalez, whose site-specific installations and public artworks challenge viewers to reconsider everyday objects and question today’s slick, digitized culture. In a cramped studio, Gonzalez “transforms the detritus of the last century into burned and blackened figures that speak to the 21st century’s values, politics, and ideas of beauty” (Binghamton Research, Winter 2014).
