Nazareth Fountain Restored on Campus

Published October 07, 2016

A fountain on the grounds of Nazareth College is now flowing once again after restoration crews completed their work this fall to bring it back to life. The fountain is on the lawn between the Golisano Academic Center and Smyth Hall. This restoration is fully funded by a generous gift from friends of the College who were looking for a special way to honor members of their family.

This restoration creates a focal point that will welcome guests as they enter campus. The fountain also creates a relaxing and peaceful area that will attract students, faculty and staff during three seasons of the year.

Phase One of the project involved restoring the fountain and providing lighting. In the spring, the donor plans to expand on this to create garden and seating space that complements the natural beauty of the campus.
