School of Business and Leadership hosts Women’s Leadership Workshop Series

Published September 22, 2021

The COVID-19 pandemic has impacted women's employment, and the Nazareth College School of Business and Leadership wants to help the women leaders of today thrive. While many workplaces continue to support their employees during the crisis, women are feeling more exhausted, burned out, and under pressure than men are, according to the 2020 Women in the Workplace study.

Through a non-credit series of workshops, Nazareth's Women's Leadership Workshop Series will focus on skills and tools to advance as effective, successful, and fulfilled leaders.

For three Saturday mornings, beginning October 23, the workshops tackle top-of-mind issues like overcoming self-esteem issues to achieve career goals, making meaningful connections with mentors in your field, and the dynamics of authenticity and cultural norms and values in the context of today's workplace.

The workshops are October 23, November 20, and December 4 from 9 a.m. - noon in Peckham Hall on Nazareth's campus (4245 East Avenue, Rochester, N.Y., 14618). Workshops may be taken individually for $150 per workshop or at a discount for $400 total when you register for all three. For employees of nonprofit — 501(c)(3) — organizations, enrollment in individual workshops costs $25 each, and the combination of all 3 workshops is $50. Details and registration: go.naz.edu/wlw.
