Did you do an internship or fieldwork as part of your program?
I had several internships at Nazareth. I interned 3 summers in a row at Welch Allyn in different departments, and completed 2 internships during tax season at 2 different local CPA firms.
How did you get involved with Career Services?
My first work study position was in the Career Services Office. I was very excited to be part of the office that was the reason I went to college, to gain a rewarding career.
What resources of the office would you recommend to others?
First and foremost I would recommend their resume services. Your resume is a representation of who you are as a professional and often it provides the first impression of you to an employer, which is critical. I also would recommend their counseling services which have been a great resource to me personally and to my firm as a great recruiting source.
What did you enjoy most about being a Nazareth College student?
Being part of a community that fosters individuals who truly care about others and want to succeed in careers that are both financially rewarding and allow for improving the world around them.
What does the future hold for you?
Anything is possible but my goal is to become chief operations officer of a company that is changing the world for the better.
