COVID-19 Resources

FAQ: Prospective Students

Can my family and I visit campus and take a tour?

Yes. In-person, small-group tours are available.

  • Register for a visit at least 24 hours before the date you choose.
  • Walk-ins are not available.
  • We can accommodate a maximum of 2 guests with each prospective student.

What health and safety guidelines are in effect for in-person visits?

As we welcome you to campus, we are committed to measures designed to ensure a safe and healthy environment for all.

  • Screening: Three hours before your visit, we'll email and text to you the link to complete Nazareth's COVID-19 visitor screening online. It works on mobile devices, PCs, Macs, and tablets with internet access. Complete the online COVID screening the day of your visit.
  • Results: Based on your response to the questions, you will immediately see your results in the form of a red or green badge with a QR code, date, and a unique (daily) reference number. Bring your device with that green badge (or a printout) with you for entry onto campus; when you arrive, scan it at a kiosk at the Arts Center. If you receive a red badge, you are not permitted on campus.
  • Face covering: Everyone needs to wear a face mask on campus. Admissions has extras if needed.
  • Arrival: Use the South Campus entrance — our only entrance with a stoplight on East Avenue. Then park in the first lot on your right (Parking Lot A - Arts Center, shown on this interactive map) and check in with Nazareth staff by the parking lot, who will direct you.
  • Guided: Stay with your Admissions tour guide, counselor, or athletic coach for the duration of your visit.
  • Small group: Each Admissions tour guide will have no more than 6 people in their group.
  • Physical distancing: Practice social distancing, maintaining a distance of six feet between you and other participants.

Nazareth College is adhering to strict standards for cleanliness and hygiene, including providing ample access to hand sanitizer stations all over campus, routinely sanitizing high-touch areas of campus multiple times a day, and more.

Are virtual visits available?

Yes. You can see and talk with an admissions counselor live via Zoom. See the options and sign up on our Visit webpage.

I’m a high school sophomore/junior and I’m concerned because the ACT/SAT test I planned to take was canceled.

  • Don't worry. We understand.
  • Nazareth College is test optional, which means that the decision whether to include SAT or ACT scores in your application portfolio is up to you.
  • The only exceptions are our nursing or 3+3 law programs. Testing is expected to be available before Nazareth's application deadlines.
