Part of the "Il Labirinto della Vita: Viaggio di Conscenza" (The Labyrinth of Life: A Voyage of Knowledge) film series shown, Il Postino is about the fictional relationship between real life poet Paublo Neruda and his postman, who helps the postman write poems in an effort to win the love of a local girl.
