LifePrep is an innovative program that provides young adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities the opportunity to have a college experience at Nazareth. The goal of the LifePrep program is to prepare LifePrep students for success, to enter the workforce, and be active members of their community. LifePrep is a federal work study job and provides opportunities for students to work as mentors in the program. The program is a chance for Naz students to gain experience working with a diverse population and work on skills that will be valuable in their professional life. Mentors have noted that their work in the program has provided opportunities for real life application in coursework and class discussions.
