WIH Bone Marrow Donor Drive

The Women's Ice Hockey team sponsors this bone marrow donation drive.
We encourage anyone ages 18-44 with general good health to come by and learn about the opportunity to save a life by donating bone marrow.
Becoming a prospective donor is as simple as swabbing your cheeks; if you sign up, you will be sent a kit through the mail.
If you are a match to help save a life, the primary way to donate bone marrow is a stem cell donation, which is similar to a double-red blood donation. All donor costs are paid by "Be The Match." After one year, if both the patient and donor agree, "Be The Match" can make arrangements for both to meet.
We hope many will choose to take part.
