Painting Exhibition Presentation by Tania Day-Magallón

Mexican-American painter Tania Day-Magallón uses oil painting, acrylics, watercolor, and mixed media to represent her personal vision of spiritual growth and transformation. Her religious beliefs and cultural identity inspire her paintings, and she is strongly influenced by Mexican art movements. In 2003 she was admitted to the National School of Painting, Sculpture and Printmaking in Mexico City, where Frida Khalo and Diego Rivera taught for several years. She currently lives in Rochester with her family where she continues her studies in Visual Arts at SUNY and participants in numerous art events including workshops and presentations.
