This year, Nazareth's Celebration of the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. National Holiday will be centered around the theme: Finding Our Power to Make a Difference: Racial Healing and Restorative Justice. Reflecting on King's words, the events, workshops, and speakers will invite each of us to reflect on how we are called to actively create a community of genuine belonging on our campus, in our country, and in the world. The commemoration will feature keynote speaker Danielle Ponder, JD and performances of the student recipients of the 2020 MLK Visual and Performing Arts Awards.
Classes are suspended during the commemoration.
