Nazareth College Ice Hockey Heads to the Frozen Frontier, Dec. 15

Nazareth College’s Men’s Ice Hockey team will be part of the Frozen Frontier lineup on December 15 as the Golden Flyers host Geneseo at 12:00 p.m. in an outdoor game at Frontier Field. The Rochester Americans and Rochester Red Wings are hosting the Greater Rochester Area Honda Dealers Frozen Frontier presented by Labatt, a 10-day outdoor hockey festival, at Frontier Field this December 13-22. As part of the event, the Amerks will faceoff with the Lake Erie Monsters at Frontier Field on Friday, Dec. 13 in the first-ever outdoor game in franchise history.

Nazareth’s President Daan Braveman and Athletics Director Pete Bothner are giving the Nazareth Community the gift of hockey with free tickets to students, faculty, and staff.  The tickets (limit five per person) are available at the information desk at the Nazareth College Shults Center with a valid Nazareth ID.  

This is the first-ever Frozen Frontier Hockey Showcase and Nazareth Men’s Ice Hockey Coach George Roll is excited to have the Golden Flyers be part of the event. "It's a great opportunity for Nazareth, our fan base and our student-athletes to be able to participate in such a unique event."
