The Master of Science in Human Resource Development at Nazareth College is designed for busy professionals and builds on the established reputation of the School of Management in providing adult learners with a collaborative, experientially based environment in which to network and develop new skills. Strong emphasis on peer learning and assignments that apply concepts to real applications ensure that students derive practical value for themselves and their organizations. Class sizes encourage active and engaged learning, providing students ample opportunities to practice their newly acquired skills in presentations, projects, and other experiential learning activities.

What to Expect
  • Choose on campus or fully online.
  • Courses offered evenings and throughout the calendar year.
  • Flexible, self-paced program. Complete the 11-course program in as little as two years, or choose a longer time frame.
  • Learn from professors and peers, a diverse student population representing a range of organizations and sectors of the economy.
  • Apply concepts to practical applications that create value for the professional and the organization. Learn to use interventions, change initiatives, learning needs assessment, individualized training, career planning, leadership development, and problem-solving engagement.
  • Option to include an elective course to prepare for Professional in Human Resource Certification or Senior Professional in Human Resource Certification.
