Student Perspective

Rwanda Douglas '24G is boosting her confidence & human resources strategy/innovation skills with a master's degree.

I pursued a master's here at Nazareth because I've always been passionate about education and professional development. And this program allowed me to be able to focus on both my work and the classroom at the same time. So it's really convenient for me.

The strength of this program, I would say, is the freedom to take a different approach. While it does have the traditional aspects of a HR program, such as policies, practices, and curriculum, it does allow you to be innovative, and creative, and take your own perspective on the topics. I have been working in HR over the past year now. And I think this degree program will allow me to increase my confidence and competence as a strategic partner to an organization of my choice. And the future really lies for HR in strategy and innovation.
