If you are seeking initial teaching certification, Nazareth has two 15-month programs that pay you to co-teach in a local school and provide you with a tuition scholarship and mentoring — all while you earn (or complete) your master's degree from Nazareth.

Undergraduate students (students transferring into an undergraduate program after at least one semester at St. Rose)

  • Complete the free (and quick!) Transfer Application. For you, Nazareth is waiving the personal statement requirement, and Nazareth will review your unofficial transcript initially to provide you with a transfer evaluation that shows how your credits will transfer and your expected time to completion.

Undergraduate Students

Orientation

  • All undergraduate students who are new to Nazareth — first-time or transfer students — participate in orientation to get familiar with the campus and resources and to connect with other students.

  • Nazareth accepts up to 90 credits from a 4-year college/university.

Graduate Students

Orientation

  • Admitted graduate students get orientation information from their academic program director.

  • Academic departments will assess each application and transcript from the College of Saint Rose individually to maximize the number of transferable graduate credit hours.
