How will I know when I have mail?

Students: You’ll receive an email from Central Mail Services anytime you receive a package or first-class mail that is ready for pick up.

When and where can I pick up my mail/packages?

Please pick up your item(s) in Central Mail Services, Shults 023 (lower level, near Campus Safety) during the following hours. Thank you for working with us and understanding our restrictions as we try to keep our Naz community safe and healthy.

WEEKDAYS, for students:

  • Last name begins A-F: 10:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.
  • Last name begins G-M: 1:30 p.m. - 3:30 p.m.
  • Last name begins N-Z: 4:30 p.m. - 6:30 p.m.
  • If your class schedule/internship/athletics is not compatible with these times 3 or more days per week, you can request an exemption from the mailroom staff by showing your schedule. You will then be allowed to pick another designated time frame to use for the semester.

SATURDAYS, for students:

  • 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. for all students

WEEKDAYS, for faculty and staff:

  • 12:30-1:30 p.m.
  • 3:30-4:30 p.m.

What safety precautions are in place?

Wear a mask and keep a 6-foot physical distance between people. Central Mail Services will be very busy at the start of the semester. Please be patient and follow all posted signs as we do everything we can to keep the line moving and keep everyone safe.

Sending outgoing mail

  • Students can purchase stamps and ship packages at Central Mail Services, Shults 23.
  • Faculty and Staff can mail/ship through Central Mail Services (Shults 23) for departmental chargebacks or for personal mail needs. Most departmental mail is managed from package rooms in the Admissions House, GAC-81, YWRI-238, PH-220, and Arts Center A-172. Mail runs are once daily at 12:30 p.m., so have mail bags ready at your designated location by 12:15 p.m. If you miss that time, you could bring it to Central Mail Services by 3 p.m.
