What’s your favorite place to hang out?

I love to hang out at any breakfast spot.

What’s on your nightstand?

Belichick by Ian O’Connor.

What is your guilty pleasure?

Eating plain M&Ms while walking on the treadmill — sort of a self-defeating activity.

Who are your heroes in real life?

I love my family, but the heroes in this world are the many who have overcome incredible adversity and helped impact the most underserved in their communities. Roynell Young, the founder of Pro-Vision Academy in Houston, is one who stands out.

What is the bravest thing you ever did?

Skydive.

What is your favorite movie and why?

Good Will Hunting — I really like the scene where the Robin Williams character is trying to convince the Matt Damon character that the abuse wasn’t his fault. A close second is The Great Escape.

What is your favorite motto?

“Your actions speak so loudly I can barely hear what you say.” Another is “Well done is better than well said.”

What is your favorite meal?

My wife’s lasagna and my mom’s peach coffee cake.

What movies have you seen recently?

Green Book, Instant Family, and A Star Is Born.

What is your hidden talent?

My only one is the ability to juggle, which I learned to do in college.

What would be your ideal job?

I have a great job right now — I'm not sure there is any such thing as an ideal job.

What is the best thing about your current job?

I get to talk basketball with my friends. It's hard to even call what I do a job!
