Biography

Mrs. DiCarlo is Graduate Practicum Coordinator and a Clinical Assistant Professor of Speech-Language Pathology. She joined the Nazareth Speech Language Pathology Department in 1990 as an adjunct faculty member, taking on various roles including Graduate Practicum Coordinator, clinical supervisor (on and off campus) and clinical instructor. She became a full-time member of the department in 2012.

Mrs. DiCarlo works closely with the Graduate Program Director to advise graduate students and she coordinates and oversees all graduate clinical placements. Along with supervising students in various community outreach experiences, she teaches the graduate Clinical Methods course and provides direct supervision to graduate students in the Nazareth Speech and Language Clinic. Additionally, she serves as the President of the Genesee Valley Speech Language and Hearing Association.

Mrs. DiCarlo has extensive experience in the area of supervision medical. With graduate student collaboration, she conducts research on clinical supervision and she has presented on this topic both locally and at the American Speech, Language, and Hearing Association national conference.
