Language students use a variety of software programs in the Emerson Language Lab to improve their language skills - some only accessible in the lab, others available online. For example:

Bio

Education: A native speaker of German, she received her Master of Science in 2004 from the Rochester Institute of Technology with concentrations in programming and databases.

Professor Deir is also currently the Director of the College's Emerson Language Lab, specializing in technology and language acquisition.
