For more than a decade, Norma S. Pimental, M.J., has served as executive director of Catholic Charities of the Rio Grande Valley, overseeing a host of ministries and social services. Drawing attention, nationally and globally, to the plight of countless refugee individuals and families,Pimental has revealed the human face of migration.She has testified before the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights and addressed the members of the United Nations. Pimental’s ministry of advocacy and service has earned numerous awards as well as recognition from Pope Francis.
