Mingled Waters: Sufism & the Mystical Unity of Religions with Pir Zia Inayat-Khan

October 13, 2017 7 – 9 p.m.

In the rivers of all the world's revealed traditions the same water flows, the water of Divine revelation. In this evening talk, Pir Zia will draw from his new book, "Mingled Waters: Sufism and the Mystical Unity of Religions," to explore the inner teachings of Hinduism, Buddhism, Zoroastrianism, Judaism, Christianity, and Islam from the perspective of Sufi wisdom.

Pir Zia Inayat-Khan, Ph.D., is a scholar of religion and teacher of Sufism in the universalist Sufi lineage of his grandfather, the Indian mystic Hazrat Inayat Khan (1882-1927). His new title, Mingled Waters: Sufism & the Unity of Religions, will be available at a book signing following the event.

This event is co-sponsored by the Hickey Center for Interfaith Studies and Dialogue.
