Screening with special guest speaker and military sexual trauma survivor, Heath Phillips
Join the Nazareth College veteran community and Title IX office for a screening of The Invisible War, from Oscar- and Emmy-nominated director Kirby Dick and Emmy-nominated producer Amy Ziering. The film investigates sexual assault within the United States military by examining stories of victims and the struggles they faced both during and following their military service.
A discussion will follow the film viewing, with panelists from our local community who are working to support victims of sexual assault. Heath Phillips will be joined on the panel by:
- Emily LoBrutto, RESTORE college advocate and education specialist
- Staci Whitney, LMSW and senior forensic interviewer with Bivona Child Advocacy Center
- Dr. Patricia Bennett, military sexual trauma counselor with the Rochester Vet Center
