This is your time to make a difference! Advance your ideas on how to address social challenges with support, training, networking, and possibly start up funding! Nazareth's CGI U students are social innovators who wish to develop and launch their own innovations in education, environment and climate change, peace and human rights, poverty alleviation or public health. Training and support comes from world leaders in innovation, brought together by President Bill Clinton and Chelsea Clinton, at a fall conference of 1,200 students from around the world. This info session provides you with the first steps in order to apply!

This spring semester, Nazareth students have the opportunity to develop project applications, called a Commitment to Action, to the Clinton Global Initiative University (CGIU) for next year's Fall Training. If the project is selected, our students will travel to the CGI U Fall Training hosted by President Bill Clinton and Chelsea Clinton, further develop their project, and then put their plan into action. Accepted students will join a thousand college students and leaders from around the world at the CGI U training in October, 2019.

Students can propose projects from five focus areas: -Education, -Environment and Climate Change, -Peace and Human Rights, -Poverty Alleviation, and -Public Health

Travel scholarships are available. Funding for projects may also be available.

The deadline for applications is April 24, 2019.

So, join us at the CGI U Information Sessions on: Tuesday, February 26th 12:10-1p.m. in GAC 155 Friday, March 1st, 2:15-3:15 PM at GAC 155
