Inlet Dance Theatre presents What Do You Do with an Idea?

March 14, 2020 6 – 7:30 p.m.

Based on the New York Times best-selling book by Koni Yamada, an ensemble of dancers create a magical world the whole family can enjoy where ideas grow and take flight.

Produced by Inlet Dance Theatre, one of Ohio’s most innovative contemporary dance companies, What Do You Do with an Ideafollows a child and his idea. At first, the idea seems strange. He doesn’t know what to do with it, or what other people will think of it. But the idea persists and grows stronger, along with the child’s confidence. What will happen next?

A beautiful production for anyone who has ever had an idea that seemed too big, too odd, or too difficult to achieve!

“Throughout the evening, kids laughed, asked questions, and some adults were seen wiping their eyes. Inlet's work underscored the inclusivity of Yamada's narrative - everyone, young or old, has ideas. Like Wade's work, those ideas can come alive.
