Calling Social Innovators!

Put your ideas into action!. This fall semester, Nazareth students have the opportunity to submit project applications, called a Commitment to Action, to the Clinton Global Initiative University (CGI U). Students can propose projects from five focus areas:

  1. Education,
  2. Environment and Climate Change,
  3. Peace and Human Rights,
  4. Poverty Alleviation, and
  5. Public Health.

Start developing your project now with our support! If your project is selected, students will travel to the CGI U spring Training in Scotland hosted by President Bill Clinton and Chelsea Clinton to further develop the project, and then put the plan into action. Apply by October 15, 2019! Accepted students will join 600 college students and leaders from around the world at the CGI U training held in Scotland from April 17-19, 2020.

Travel scholarships are available. Funding for projects may also be available.

This info session provides more information on how to apply and how CGI U:

  1. Inspires and empowers the next generation of leaders and social entrepreneurs;
  2. Provides access to a broad array of resources and expertise; and
