Celebrate Black History Month with the Center for Spirituality and lunch lecturer Dr. Timothy Kneeland, Professor and Chairperson of the History and Political Science Department and Director of the Center for Public History.
Topic of Discussion: How did religion shape Frederick Douglass and what were the implications of his pursuit of social justice and equality? Drawing on Douglass' own writings and actions, this talk will place the life and work of Douglass into the context of his beliefs and his insight on American Christianity.
