Surviving Conquest: Native American Women in the Clash of Cultures

In honor of International Women's Day and Women's History Month, Camilla Townsend, professor of history at Rutgers University, will explore the experiences, traumas, and roles of Native American women as cultural intermediaries during the European conquest and colonization of the Americas during the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries.
