Limit your paper to 6,000 words
Follow the Chicago Manual of Style (17th Edition) with endnotes and a bibliography
Please use American (i.e. U.S.) English spellings in place of British or Commonwealth spellings
Please use 1-inch margins
Please use Times New Roman 12-point font for the body of the paper and bibliography and Times New Roman 10-point font for endnotes
Please use double-space
Indent all paragraphs 5-spaces at the beginning of each paragraph
Please place page numbers in the bottom center of the page (in the 1-inch margin)
Please provide an abstract of no more than 200 words as an introduction to the paper
Please include a conclusion or summary at the end of the paper
Provide a brief personal resume/biography of 120 words
Please allow time for someone to copy edit your paper before submission
Please reference at least 5 sources in your bibliography and keep the publication date after 2010 unless it is a foundational work
Please indicate the source of any translation of a sacred text; your own or others
This is an academic essay and, as such, demands proof for all claims
