Elizabethan Culture Exhibit - June 1-30, 2015
Library Browsing Lounge
This exhibit will provide a look into the Tudor Elizabethan culture; from how they dressed, class system, money and coinage, to arms and armor with a full size suit of plate armor made from an artisan that uses the same methods of dishing and raising steel plate on an actual oak stump as they did during those times.
There will be male and female period costumes on full sized dress forms along with actual fencing weapons that you can view.
Due to the many articles written and various types of costumes, this exhibit will change weekly, so stop by frequently to see what is new!
