The library at Nazareth University allows the public in-library use of most collections and services. If you wish to borrow materials, you may be eligible based on your status (see options below).
Visitors to the University who wish to use the computers in the library must sign in at the Information Desk and show current, valid picture ID. Visitors are limited to four usages per semester.
Database usage is restricted to faculty, staff, and current students. You may be able to find free, alternative sites that are available to the public or through your public library.
Interlibrary Loan is only available to faculty, staff, and current students. You may be able to use the services through your school or public library.
If you are a community member over the age of 18 who wishes to be able to borrow materials from the library, you can sign up for the Guest User Card. The fee is $10 for the card and it is valid for one year, enabling you to check out physical material from the library. The Computer Usage rules above explain the limited access to our computers for visitors.
In order to use an RRLC card at Nazareth, you must first sign up at your home institution. For more information, please see the Rochester Regional Library Council's webpage.
With our shared catalog, the SJF community can now see the Nazareth collection, and request items they would like to check out, and pick up those materials at Nazareth. If you wish to borrow materials, you will need to bring your current St. John Fisher ID card.
Maximum: 10 books at any one time
