Raising of America Film Screening, Dec. 9

Nazareth College is honored to host one of the first screenings in western New York of  the documentary series The Raising of America: Early Childhood and the Future of Our Nation on Wednesday, December 9th at 7:00 p.m., in the Forum of the Otto A. Shults Center.  This screening is free and open to the public.Nazareth College is located at 4245 East Avenue, Rochester, N.Y., 14618. The film, released in August, focuses on the state of early childhood education policy in the United States. The documentary is the first national, fully integrated media / public engagement project that aims to reframe the way Americans look at early child health and development. Nazareth graduate students from the College’s early childhood education program will facilitate a community-wide discussion after the presentation of the film.
