This event is free and open to the public. The Lyric Theatre is located at 440 East Avenue, Rochester, N.Y. 14607. The project started as a collaborative effort amongst education students during an Adolescent Education course at Nazareth College. The purpose of the class was to further understand the challenges and changes adolescents face on a daily basis. The students (with the help of Nazareth professors Brian Bailey, Dave Caiazza, and Eric Morris) wanted to spread ideas and create change by putting together a local event, which came to be known as The Rochester Teen Summit.
The summit will feature students from, Nazareth College, West Irondequoit High School, World of Inquiry School, School without Walls, Bright High School, Honeoye Falls-Lima High School, Greece Athena, Community Place, Teen Empowerment, and 25 North Dance Company.
