New guides from multiple college rating systems recognize Nazareth College as being among the best for academic quality and value and for being a best college for veterans, being LGBTQ-friendly, having strong town-gown relations, and for contributions to social mobility, research, and public service.

U.S. News & World Report Best Colleges 2021 guide has again ranked Nazareth College in the top tier of colleges and universities for Best Regional Universities-North, at No. 45, based on academic quality indicators such as graduation rates and faculty resources. The region covers 11 states and the District of Columbia. The 2021 edition also rates Nazareth highly as a Best Value School, at No. 29 in the region, and at No. 21 as a Best College for Veterans.
The Princeton Review has named Nazareth College to its Best 386 Colleges for 2021. This is Nazareth's 13th consecutive year as one of the country's best institutions for undergraduate education. Only about 13% of the 3,000 four-year colleges in the United States are profiled in the book. Nazareth College is ranked 13th for the Best Town-Gown Relations and 11th for LGBTQ - Friendly which are two of the Princeton Review's 62 breakout surveys based on what students surveyed at Nazareth reported about their opinions of and experiences at Nazareth.
Nazareth College is ranked 80th among more than 600 Best Master's Universities by the 2020 Washington Monthly College Guide and Rankings. Washington Monthly rates colleges and universities on their contributions to social mobility, research, and public service. Nazareth also made the list for the 2020 Best Bang for the Buck Rankings: Northeast - an exclusive list of schools ranked according to how well they help non-wealthy students attain marketable degrees at affordable prices.
Money Magazine ranked Nazareth College on its 2020-21 list Best Colleges in America, Ranked by Value. Money weighed more than 19,000 data points, including tuition fees, family borrowing, and career earnings.
The Wall Street Journal |Times Higher Education College Ranking 2021 gives Nazareth College highest marks for civic engagement and the College is ranked in the top half of 800 institutions nationally and in the Northeast region. The Wall Street Journal/Times Higher Education rankings are generated from four pillars, each of which represents a key area in teaching excellence: resources, engagement, outputs and environment.
